These bars are lighter weight but have the same inside shaft length as other weightlifting bars (about 52"), with only the sleeves cut short to about 10". They are meant for training the movements for beginner lifters, with only one or two plates on the bar.
We don't recommend you use any of the aluminum bars on a rack. They can get damaged more easily than steel when set down hard. Anything not clearly marked here as aluminum in the description is steel.
