This is unlike any tricep bar you've used. The 1 3/4" thick powder-coated bar is a part of the series of Hog Leg fat bars and blows traditional 1" chrome bars away. The thick powder-coated handle feels solid in your hands and doesn't slip.
Similar to the Piglet Tricep Bar. This model adds the balls at the ends to either keep your hands in place on the shaft or to give you another gripping point.
The powder coating on this bar provides a great grip surface even with sweaty hands. Rubber grips can wear out or come loose from the bar. Note that there is no knurling on this bar, because it's made partly to train your grip strength.
