The rubber handles on these dumbbells give you a more secure grip. The extra thickness provided by the rubber grip also makes for a better sized grip.
The length of the ends of these handles is 4.13". If you're using our Economy Plates, you can fit (3) 10lb plates + (1) 5lb plate on each side, plus the collars to secure them, for a total of 75 lbs per dumbbell.
